I realise http://validator.w3.org/ indicates 'Added support for XHTML 1.1, XHTML Basic 1.0, and MathML 2.0 (Sept 13, 2001)', but I'm unclear as to just what that means . . . so I probably shouldn't have put in the comment, right? /Sigh. . . ./ 'Twas foolish of me, I know; I guess I was just thinking of the !DOCTYPE over-ride from the pull-down menu more than anything else.
