No, Netscape 6 is not in a bad position. It's still the most
standards-compliant browser out there. If Sharp have decided not to
support it (that is, Gecko and web standards) it's their loss. When more
and more browsers and set-top boxes start using it, they'll soon change
their tune.
And why can't they use the compatibility Javascript anyway?
Does Opera 4 support <layer>? Because they let that in.
