A while back, I was interested in Sky Pilot and so investigated its
licensing status. It is as follows:

After reading the terms and conditions, it seems the Netscape Theme Park
contest did not assert any rights over the code submitted. So, the
situation depends on the source of the files. Files in Sky Pilot which
are derived from MPLed files (such as Modern or Classic) are MPLed,
because Modern and Classic are MPLed, but other files (e.g. all the
images), which were created by the original author, remain his property.
The MPL is not as viral as the GPL - it only applies to files based on
already-MPLed files.

Therefore, legally, you cannot do anything with the original files
created by the Sky Pilot author that he has not permitted you to do. If
there are no license files which apply to those images (e.g. no LICENSE
file) which give you rights, then you cannot do anything with them.

Creating a version of Sky Pilot which works with the latest Mozilla is a
derivative work, and (I would say) requires the copyright holder's
permission to distribute.

So, I'm afraid that 1.0 Sky Pilot won't fly until you can contact the
original author and get his permission. :-(
