When I try to subscribe to newsgroups, Netscape 6 takes an eternity to
come up with a list of newsgroups, which is not searchable, and is not
presented in alphabetical order. So am I supposed to hunt manually
through the 40,000 or so groups in order to find the ones I want to
subscribe to? I cannot believe that this is how the program is
supposed to behave. Someone tell me I'm doing something wrong, please.
The newsreader in version 4.7 was far, far superior to this (though
still far short of Free Agent, of course).
