I am still using the NS4.7 system tray notifier to get notified when new
mail arrives on my IMAP account. I tried a large variety of mail readers
and after fetching IMAP messages with some of them, the "new" flag of
the NS4.7 notifier dissappeared on the next check, but with most (e.g.
Mozilla) it doesn't reset.
My question is: How does mark Mozilla IMAP messages as read on the IMAP
server? Is there some RFC'd standard way, does this depend on the IMAP
server or is NS4.7 notifier flawed, that it doesn't reset it's state on
the next check?
