[EMAIL PROTECTED]">Open the mail client,and go to Edit / Mail/News Account Settings. In here there is a section called Outgoing (SMTP) Server, and set this to Never. That seemed to get me past some of the more recent issues .. but that is just a guess. I have not filed a bug as a result of the fact I am not sure that this is the issue ...I followed your advise and this is what happen. When I went in and checked NEVER, I could never get it to take. When I went back and checked to make sure that NEVER was selected, it never was. When Available is always selected. Any clue?

I have seen some discussion that SSL with the mail server causes issues. I set it to never use SSL, and they semed to go away ...
