I'm all for that, you should double check with ducarroz, who owns mime now.

Seems to me, as long as I can save the message as a .eml (which is RFC 
822), and we can display .eml correctly, I can't think of a good reason 
to save a message as html.

did 4.x or 6.x ever expose this in the UI?  I can't find it.
