*giggle* I've managed to get quite a thread going here! :)
Sorry my original subject line was so vague, but it was more of a vague
question to start with.
I'm probably confusing and or frustrating people with my lack of knowledge
of the bits of Moz, obviously I don't have a great understanding of how all
the bits fit together, hence my original question, but then I go bandying
words about like "Gecko", without a really clear idea of what they mean. I
guess I imagine it to be something like NG layout. I just think of Gecko as
being everything needed to render a HTML file on screen, not everything
needed to make a browser (network stuff etc)
I just think it would be really groovy if you could have lots of predefined
mozilla packages that all plug together and you could mix and match! (I'm
obviously aware that what I'm talking about might be a versioning nightmare
waiting to happen but people have to deal with that sort of thing all the
time on windows!)
