In my Communicator 4.7, it's either Inline, Quoted, or
As Attachment. A message forwarded inline looks like
this:

--- Original message ---
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: A message forwarded inline
Date: July 2, 2001 18:47

Hi!

This is forwarded inline.

Bye!

whereas a message forwarded quoted looks like this:

which is quite a different kettle of fish.

They're obviously different, and either has its merits. I'd
like to use both of them, depending on the situation. More
precisely, if I wish to forward only a couple of lines of another
message, I'll likely use the quoted style, whereas if I wish
to forward the entire message, inline style seems more
appropriate.

Let the user decide please.

Speaking of quoting: what happened to the "Quote" button in
the message composition window? I liked it for replying to
many mail messages at once. I'm aware that it screws up the
threading of news postings, so maybe it would make sense to offer
it for mail only -- but I'd like to see it back. Is this a bug
yet?

Yours,
    Erik.
