Your claim[1] was that *all* readers except Mozilla display "> > >" out
of the box which is total nonsense since that depends to a large extent
on what the other party sends you. The only way to consistently achieve
a display of either ">>>" or "> > >" are external programs like the ones
I have mentioned which are easy to use and offer a slew of other helpful
features. Thus my suggestion is AFAIK the *only* way to achieve what
you want on *any* reader. But unfortunately you appear to be immune to
apprehension and learning :-(

answers you get so you start a new thread and file a new bug because
