Hi,

I lost a significant amount of mail after migrating from 6.01 to 6.1 and
running the "compact folders" function. Mail just disappeared from a number
of the folders (*.msf files left OK but no mail messages). I run
Windows2000.

I have seen in the past week several postings on disappearance of mail and
addressbook. One case reported that the index files only was gone.

I think this is once again, in the Netscape 6.xx family tradition, a
premature release of a product. Considering the level of damage it can
cause, puts it in the category of a VIRUS!
