This looks pretty good. This appears to just be post message receipt
labelling, based on filter rules. I hope that at the same time this is
implemented, the ability for email messages to impose, for example
colors, in the subject line, is disabled. Otherwise, the labelling will
be less effective.
I would definitely like to be able to label all the email from
maillists, which all have a distinctive name at the beginning of the
subject line (as well as reply-to lines), or label emails from certain
people. This will definitely be a big help under the ever increasing
email load that seems to be afflicting many of us.
I think limiting the number of labels to 5, as suggested, is too
limiting (no one will ever need more than 640K of RAM...).
