I still have problems with the synchronization of news for offline
reading (Mozilla 0.9.4, Windows 98 I).
I can select various newsgroups from different servers for download, but
when synchronizing only the first group of the first server gets loaded.
As a minor point you need to be in online mode to start the
synchronization (this isn't really a problem, but it differs uncomfortly
from Netscape 4.78, which I'm still using for Mail&News).
Furthermore, the (non-HTML) mail editor still has severe problems with
line ends.
When hitting enter amidst a normal (non-quoted) line, everything's fine.
But when inside of quoted lines it's going awry. Steps to reproduce
behaviour:
* use text mode editor.
* answer a message/posting with quoting it
* move into a quoted line (starting with >), don't choose first position
* hit enter: the line will be split, but an additional empty line will
be inserted in between and get the caret
* enter > at the beginning of this empty line
* hit DEL (*not* backspace!) once: nothing happens
* hit DEL a second time: the first character of the *next* line is
killed, not the line end. The caret moves to the next line.
No very predeictable behavioure, I'd say.
Shall I file a bug?
