I have had a problem with my inbox. suddenly, for no odd reason, my
inbox messages are no longer displayed. When the mouse pointer is over
the inbox, it does indicate there are some 80 messages. When new
messages arrived, the counter is updated, but the messages remain invisible.
I had to rename the inbox.xxx in the mozilla directory to something
else. That name then shows up in the mail box. The mail automatically
recreates the inbox item, which allowed my to receive new messages.
What I did detect was that my inbox limit had just exceeded the 10Mb
barrier (hence the subject name). I have no clue if that is the actual
reason for this phenomenon.
I have written numerous times to Netscape, but it's like talking to a
brick wall. The only reply one gets, it the automated answer. For the
rest, they don't care about the users.

The problem with renaming is still that some mails are in the old inbox,
but I had to consider them lost (since I have no way of retrieving the
information).

If anyone has experienced the same issue, or has a way to solve it,
rather than to circumvent it, please let me know.
