While I could not agree totally with you, I do think that there is no reason to turn mozilla appealing to AOL only (the biggest money-supplier, I supposed). The good old Netscape Communicator defintely had limits that ought to be broken (like the silly one identity per profile, or even the profile support which actually is redundant as both Window$ and Linux are somehow multi-user).
