Dear Mr. Rosen and for those to whom it may concern...

Please let me get straight: definitely, you are not the only one who are
having all those troubles !!

Couple of weeks earlier, I <currently using Netscape 6.2.1 and mozilla
0.9.7> posted same kind of question regarding the malfunction and have
received a suggestion from a German person named "Wolf Lex"...

Following is the quotayion from his suggestion to me:

As I understand the questions, I have had the same problem with Java
Plugin. And I found a solution, which works on my Win-PC with
Moz0.9.6-at-de. I'd copied the NPOJI600.dll into the plugin-folder of
mozilla. This .dll I did get from a test installation of Netscape6.2.
After doing this, I was happy to see, that my java machine works.
I hope, it helps.

Me, as an long time Netscape user and Mozilla supporter, strongly hopes
that complete fixation are going to be done ASAP. But, in the meantime,
it is my pleasure if this notice could be a help to you and all those
persons experiencing same issue.

Best regards, from Tokyo
