Hi!

As stated in the subject I could not use my certificate for signing e-mails
with s/mime.

I selected my certificate in the mail and account setting. But when I enable
signing for an e-mail, I always get the message: "You requested to digitally
sign the message, but the application failed to find the signing certificate
you specified in your Mail/News accout preferences or the certificate has
expired."

The certificate is valid until 2003-01-18! It was issued by our company's
test CA.

So what information (e.g. extensions) need to be present in the certificate?
My certificate includes the subjectAltName-extension set to the e-mail
address used in my mail account settings.

So what did I do wrong?

Markus
