Valid concern with an old bug, but it is not a showstopper for me

I find the new one more convenient, but feel free to change the 
keybindings yourself, it is as simple as modifying a text file 
(http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html#keys especially section 
"Setting up custom key bindings")

Space jumps to the next unread message if I just selected a newsgroup 
but not if I selected a newsserver (WindowsNT here), you are right, I 
never tried that (I keep the newsgroups unfolded all the time)
Feel free to file a bug in bugzilla for it, or it will never be fixed...

I see that, and there is certainly no reason to be overly enthusiastic 
or unrealistic about mozillas capabilities, but for my needs it has 
already surpassed NS4 by far.
