Random guess. This could be a profile issue. The latest nightlies are doing something different that 0.9.8 doesn't understand. Try creating a new profile in 0.9.8 and see if that works. Another guess. Try deleting XUL.mfasl (name might be slightly different) file in your profile dir. Pratik.
