Is there something else that should be looked for besides the SOCKS
fields. I'm seeing the problems described in this thread, and I've been
using the nightly builds from the last week. The most recent is 2002030403.

I'm connecting to my ISP's IMAP service over SSL (port 993), and the
status bar has "Sending authenticate login information ..." and spins
and spins. At times I've left it run up to 5 minutes before killing it.

Same behavior occurs without SSL turned on (port 143).

I'm set for direct connection to the internet, and all of the various
proxy fields are blank.

I know it's not a problem with my ISP as I can connect on another
Win2000 box (the one I'm at now) using Mozilla 20020129. It's also
configured as direct connection to the internet and nothing in any of
the proxy fields.
