OK, so this isn't a bug, but:

When I installed 0.9.9 last night, I encountered a situation where the
folders associated with my ISP were doubled and no messages were present.

The reason, of course, is that there are now two sets of folders on my
machine, and the two sets of folders are in completely different
directories, and I'd like to get the missing messages back.

Please tell me that it's quite as simple as ensuring that folders in the
new directory are empty (I have to use local folders to store any
e-mail) and just copying the old set of files (the ones /sans/ extension
and the ones with the .msf extension) into the new location.

Otherwise, the new release seems quicker and more stable – even on an
old P-200 box.

Most of my IE-using friends (some of whom are ITs, programmers, and
'geers) think I'm daft to've abandoned IE; I'm just grateful to have a
viable – /and/ standards compliant – alternative. I'd doff my hat to
all of you, but I never wear one. Still, thanks . . .

. . . And thank-you for any help you might be able to give me with my
wee problem.
