OK, I agree, it makes sense for the default compose action (Ctrl-M, or 
Message->New Message) to behave according to where you are, but it would 
still be useful to fire up a new *e-mail* when you are in News so you 
could, for example, forward a NG article by e-mail without having to 
change the address and "Newsgroup:" to "To:". How about making 
Shift-Ctrl-M start a new e-mail regardless of where you are, and leave 
Ctrl-M to be context-sensitive?
