I looked again. Its not only the pop3 inbox, but one (!) other folder, too. I have 6 additional folder in my pop3. Two are "filled" per filter (move). One of this two folder causes the hourglass, too. I have disabled the filter, but the problem stays. This one folder is "special": i use it as a working folder of a busy mailing list. After 200-300 Mails i move mails to a backup folder to keep it small and fast. Inbox is similar: lots of mails go in, lots are moved out. As i wrote, "compact this folder" sometimes helps. So: maybee a problem with indexing, if lots of mails are moved/deleted? -- Ralf Storm
