Hi, my mail/news is sometimes "busy": it shows the hourglass but there is no activity visible. This happens after selecting the inbox of my pop3 account.
I still can switch between folders, between accounts, move messages - no problem (albeit slow). But the hourglass stays and "get mail every x minutes" doesnt work any longer. Sometimes "compact this folder" on the inbox gets rid of the hourglass, sometimes not. Then, the only other choice to get "get mail every x minutes" back is a restart. And mozilla crashes regularly while closing. How can i check what Mozilla is doing? Or is there a bug? Search for "hourglass" at bugzilla shows nothing like that. This behavior is there a long time. Maybee since 0.9.6 I have tried nightlies and milestones. Made a new user account, deleted XUL, deleted chrome. Anything else? details: - win32 (NT40sp6 german) - 2 accounts: 1 imap, 1 pop3 - only inbox of pop3 affected - 3 filters on imap - 2 filters on pop3 - local directory of pop3 account is on a network drive and not in the mozilla default path, changed per preferences dialog regards Ralf Storm
