In today's nightly there is a "New Mail Notification" animated pop-up
that activates in the lower right when new mail arrives. It's a really
neat feature for those that like that sorta thing. It can be
enabled/disabled in the preferences and certain actions can be tweaked
in the "all-ns.js" file:
// pref to control the alert notification
pref("alerts.slideIncrement", 1);
pref("alerts.slideIncrementTime", 10);
pref("alerts.totalOpenTime", 4000);
pref("alerts.height", 50);
It works for multiple account notification as well.
