Let me get this straight. Making a Mozilla telnet client, reusing its UI components, networking library, etc. would be _more_ bloated than doing it from scratch? If you want a standalone telnet client, there are loads out there. If you want telnet:// support for Mozilla, that would be cool. Although I think some platforms support it already. The real question is: is this the best use of your time, or would we be able to persuade you to come and help on really crucial stuff, like the 1.0 buglist? :-) Gerv
