Comments:
1. I do not remember if I have had a PAGE which I gave me
difficulty downloading a file URL specified with the http:
protocol. However, the above FILE gives me difficulty.
2. With the above URL, what happens is: Mozilla/2 gives me
a pop-up about the extension; I go on; OS/2 gives me
a pop-up about the filename; I go on; Mozilla/2 gives
me the download progress window; When the download
completes, I look in my working directory. That file is
not there. (Nor is it anywhere on any of my disks.)
(Nor do the binary characters for that file show up in
my Mozilla/2 window.)
3. Please note that my request was for "How Do I Download a
File ?" If I __knew__ that a certain sequence of actions
was supposed to result in a file being downloaded to my
working directory, then I could identify it as a problem
if that did not happen. But I have been UNABLE TO FIND
documentation for Mozilla which tells me press-by-press
how to download the file whose URL is given above.
