More Mozilla (2001022800) flakiness:

This time I'm trying to download a .zip file whose URL is given
on the page being displayed in my Mozilla window -

  - When I press <shift> and click on the URL, I get the OS/2
file dialog, after that the download progress window.
When the download progress window completes, I have the
file sitting in the working directory on my disk.

  - When I just click on the URL, I get a Mozilla pop-up which
asks if I want to store the file to disk. I continue, and
get the OS/2 file dialog, after that the download progress
window. When the download progress window completes, the
file is __not__ sitting in the working directory on my
disk (nor anywhere else, under its own name, in my system).

In both cases, the file __has__ been downloaded to the Mozilla
cache.

p.s. Even stranger, I twice managed to have Mozilla pop-up a
dialog which asks if I want to store the file on disk --
this is AFTER the download progress window was already
displayed -- i.e., WHILE the file was already being
downloaded. (I waited until the file download finished,
then continued out of the inappropriate pop-up.)
