Actually, S-JIS is working.
The problem with wave dash is very complicated. It is mapped differently between
different
codepages (IBM vs. MS)
Because Mozilla uses a MS codepage to map to Unicode and we use an IBM codepage to map
to the
operating system, it doesn't get mapped correctly.
There are a number of pages on the Internet that talk about this incompatibility.
There is even a mozilla bug about similar issues

The only way we can fix this is to change the OS/2 code to use Mozilla mapping tables
rather
than OS/2, but this might cause other incompatibilities.
We're continuing to investigate this.
