Still doing a bang up job of forcing reboots. Just spent an hour or two shopping at http://www.hard-drive.com/. Before starting Mozilla and actually shopping, I installed Java 1.3, and then enabled Javacrash on starting Mozilla. Shopping was successful, but not very friendly. Back button always returned me to home page instead to previous page. Stupid frames site, but I have no way to know whether usability fault is site or Mozilla or both.
Anyway, as soon as I was done shopping and got my order confirmation, I tried to close Mozilla. Window closed, but activity meter pegged, stayed pegged for about 10 mm, then froze. CAD required to regain desktop. Last several builds all cause same result. Can't browse more than a couple hours before desktop becomes unusable and reboot required to fix. How are those who claim to be using Mozilla regularly instead of 4.61 getting away with it, shut down & restart Mozilla every 20 minutes? -- "A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy."
