Also check for a bad download. I always have to brace myself for
unexpected time consumption! This time after downloading 0.9.6,
removing the 0.9.5 tree and unzipping all the files 0.9.6 would not run!
All I got was the splash screen, the Warp Centre activity monitor
would be up for while and then fall to zero. Removing old profiles did
not make any difference. Then doing a fresh UnZip I noticed some
messages flash past. Then I ran UnZip -t
<foldername>\mozilla-os2-vacpp-0.9.6.zip and there it was - "at least
one error in the zip file". Dogone it! Did another download, install
and up it came. (I used 0.9.5 to do the fresh download).

Mozilla's ftp saving file process is much more solid and stable than
4.61 which falls over easily. But for a lengthy download I have found
it wise to not have any other internet traffic flowing in or out of the
dialup (with Injoy's NAT that means not accessing the internet from any
other computer on the LAN). Thus I infer that the ftp process should
have the connection all to itself to minimise the chance of a bad download.
