My system has Java 1.3 installed (the version that came with MCP). I suppose this is v1.3.0, and the one on Software Choice now (dated 28 September) to be v1.3.1). I have downloaded this update, and want to install it according to the simple and straightforward instructions.
In one of the browser screens that the installation program brings up, there is a list of options for the components to be installed. These include a plugin for Netscape and one for IBM Web Explorer, but the latter is greyed out. Web Explorer is indeed installed on my system, and I would like to understand why the option is unavoidable. My guess is that the reason is simply that the installation package includes a Netscape plugin but not one for Web Explorer, but I would like to hear this from somebody that knows for a fact. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel To send me email, please note that email addressed to "SPAM-FOILER" will not reach me, and will not be read.
