Yes, I saw that after the new installation completed. Not important.

Besides the question I asked above, still unanswered, I have other
questions about Mozilla, and have already asked them twice. I hesitate
to ask again, but the main question, which I think would interest many
other than just me is the following:

I have on my system both IBM Web Browser and Mozilla 0.9.5; Mozilla is
using the profile and bookmarks that are in the Web Browser directory.
I want to remove Web Browser, but keep the profile and bookmarks where
they are; in other words, that directory would become devoted to
profiles and bookmarks, and successive versions of Mozilla would
continue to find them there. This configuration is mentioned in the
Mozilla documentation, and makes a lot of sense. But I'm not sure
about exactly which Web Browser files I have to leave, and which I can
delete. My guess is that I need to keep the entire "Mozilla" directory
(which is mainly several layers of empty subdirectories that exist
only to hold the next level down, culminating in one with the highly
descriptive name "bwq0z5vg.slt" that seems to have much of the profile
apparatus. But wait, there is also a subdirectory elsewhere, called
"profiles" that seems to be irrelevant, and there are several other
directories that have suggestive names that argue for retention. In
short, the directory structure is sufficiently Byzantine that I need a
word from somebody who can see into the minds of the designers.
