        You'll probably find that using Java on other sites from the one 
previously mentioned will work just fine.  I've been using 1.3 Service 
Release 10 with Mozilla for quite a while, and other than the 
"mufferCreator" hangs that occur occasionally, I haven't hit a site 
where Java hasn't worked (other than the one you previously pointed out, 
that is :).

        BTW, I took a moment to run the main class for the ticker you were having 
problems with through the Java Profiler, and it does indeed look like 
it's gone through an obsfucator.  Obsfucators are evil (IMHO), and many 
of them produce bytecode that isn't strictly proper.  At the same time, 
Java Runtimes sometimes have problems of their own with the output of 
obsfucators, even if that output strictly conforms to the bytecode standard.

        Either way, you can rest assured that it isn't because you didn't set 
things up correctly :).
