This is the part that confuses me. If you go to www.yahoo.com and change your encoding to Arabic, nothing about that web page will change (except maybe the font). Arabic has the same characters in the lower ASCII range as every other codepage. I'm not sure changing to Arabic is the core problem here, because if I go to my mailbox and change the Inbox to Arabic, my headers don't disappear. The MSF file is a compiled version of the inbox. I don't know much about the format. I'll keep looking at this. I wonder if there is a particular message in your inbox that is causing the problem? I just have one message right now, and I don't see the problem. How many emails are in your inbox? Mike
