I hate to post another "me too" message, but I've seen this same
behaviour on my mothers machine (which I remotely administer for her).
I've never seen it on my own machine however. No crash is necessary --
sometimes when you open up Mozilla, the icons are just gone (as are
their menu equivilents). Once they're gone, they never appear to come
back (and deliting components.reg didn't appear to help at all either).
Starting up mail/news or any of the other missing icons from the WPS
works fine, however.
Next time she phone me to complain about the disappearing icons, I'll
grab copies of these files and send them your way.
