 I have Sounds folder under Drive D:, however even after copying th
file to my C:\MMOS2\sounds folder and changing the prefs.js,  it still
make the sound like a error/warning has occurred.

There must be something else, if the statement above is what you have in 
your prefs.js.

Does the "user_pref" statement have to be in a certain place within the 
"prefs.js" file?

Where is it located in your prefs.js?
