On my system after a fresh start with Mozilla preloaded with -turbo and then one active Mozilla window opened, some 130MB of RAM are used. Now, the system is running for some 2 1/2 days with one Mozilla window and about 8 tabs and 3 additional VIO mode user sessions, the used memory is up to 214MB, while additionally the M/N and a Compose window are open right now.
The used memory will only go down by some 80MB, when Mozilla and then in addition the -turbo background session is closed. So I think it's really worth thinking about restarting it, after the last window is closed, besides there is another way to free the hogged memory from time to time.
