There's a type of bug which I think is important to drive to zero (or
close to it) for 1.0, but I don't think it even has a keyword for it
right now...

I'm talking about bugs where a UI gesture simply doesn't ever work.

An example would be Apply Theme in the Preferences box in 0.9.1. Even
though the feature is available elsewhere, providing a UI element that
simply doesn't work looks very bad.

Is there a standard category for this kind of bug?

I also agree that dataloss bugs should be treated the same as topcrash.
Any data loss in the 1.0 product is very bad... (I'm still holding off
using MailNews, for example, because I've seen too many newsgroup
postings of things like attachments not appearing or other bugs that
imply dataloss. I sincerely hope that I'll be able to use MailNews by
1.0 without risking losing information)

Another suggestion: Perhaps we should have some criteria for 4xp bugs
for 1.0? It'd be nice to say that 1.0 would be the version which any 4.x
user would be able to switch to without losing features. Yes, this would
mean getting S/MIME in (I think this is currently targetted post-1.0
which I disagree with).

Just my 2c...

Stuart.
