Yes it happened before :-( Ad meritum. The comments by Chris (and others) convinced me that the ficus code is unnecessary. Maybe I stumble in darkness not seeing the light but stopping the discussion is not a way of converting me back to the need of Mozilla windows stealing focus from each other. I believe that the focus stealing is generally confusing (especially to new users). It mey lead to problems, including data loss, if the focus is stolen during typing. That was my .02 zloty. Jacek
