Delete the following files in your profile and see if it works afterwards:

- XUL.mfl
- the Cache folder
- history.dat

These files will be recreated when you restart the program (your fill 
loose the history of visited links)

If it still doesn't work, move the key3.db and cert7.db to a safe place 
and see if it works. If all of this doesn't work, you can still move 
your main data into a new profile.
