damn true. i even have difficulties with cds. even they dont seem that
"real" to me. see, i have this object fixation: ive got to have something
in my hands. i just cant relate to a thing being only a part of that big
bitsteram in my machine.

well, yeah.. carrying these milk crates full of 12 inches really is a shit
job to do. but..

in britain ther is actually one artist named pure science doing that.

damn sure, but you also lose some essential stuff: how do you scratch with a
hard disk? with a fork? everything comes simulation and knob-twitching. with
this i dont mean to be a purist: anyone can do whatever suits her/him, but
i wouldnt definitely go to that direction. well, at least now.. maybe when
i finally get fed up carrying tons of plastic with me..

or forget in a hlsinki taxi when drunk.. that happened to me once and i
never got the vinyls back. luckily, they werent any rare northern soul
seven inches witha price up to 40 pounds each. i heard a rumour though, that
mika vainio lost many sixties reggae seven inches in a taxi in barcelona.
dont know if this is true though..

referring back to previous coment of mine, that makes sense, but i still
wont quit using vinyl. right now im thinking of tryin to get second copies
of my best cuts..

and it still pisses me of like hell when there comes up a person who calls
himself a dj who plays cds full of burned mp3s or compilation cds when i
spend most of my damn money on vinyl. when someone plays unreleased - say -
net label stuf its damn ok. i dont have any complaints about that. but id
still like to have a home vinyl press for that stuff.

for home - and work - listening mp3s are perfect stuff. no complaints about
that either. download as much as you can and piss sony, warner and metallica
off!

now playing: petri nygrd: mua vituttaa
