        Well, if you play as eclectic range of music as I do, it is very useful
to have a large pitch range. Tho usually I personally also operate
within +-4%, there are many situations when even the 8% just isn't
enough. And if I was a better turntablist, I'd find even more need for
pitch. 
        Optimal setting would be (like in some high end Vestax models) that the
user can select the pitch range from several options (4/8/16%). 
        And I _do_ know my records pretty good. It's just that I don't want to
be limited by the BPM when playing records.
