Hi,
Does any body know what type of input statistics of an audio signal
can prompt usage of mixed mode (mode in which first 2 subbands use long
window where as the rest 30 use short window for calculation of MDCT
coefficients) in MPEG layer 3 algorithm ?
The public domain layer 3 encoder source code at Hannover site does
not implement this mode, I believe.
