Before I discovered you guys, I was using the dist10 source code
and sent some email to Mpecker's author, Rafael W. Luebbert.
He's made quite a lot of changes/improvements do the dist10 code,
and the quality is supposed to be close to FHG mp3enc.
Only problem is that he doesn't release any source, and only gives out
Mac binaries. But I did get the impression he would be willing to
discuss technical details.
One thing I dont understand is how come FHG hasn't tried to shut
mpecker down?
