we probably all watch mp3.com like hawks, but anyway...
Recent article talks about free encoders for linux, and only mentions that
there is bladeenc. and talks about the release of xing's linux encoder (is
there a demo of this around to try?).
also seems to insinuate that the open source model that linux has
thrived on has come undone when you start looking at encoders.
