I contacted Mitsunari Shigeo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and said that
most of the routines in 'gogo' are in assembly (MDCT, huffman compress,
quantize, FFT,... etc)
He let me know that if you contact him, he is willing to release the source
of gogo and let us use what we can in LAME.
(I can't code myself out of a paper bag, but someone else might find it
useful)
