Hi all,
Just what happened in the inner_loop recently. Between 3.25 and 3.27 on my
standard test file, the number of quantize_xrpow calls dropped from 467814 down
to 182613. Has someone been tweaking the outer_loop guess methods? [i'm only
using -m f mode. no funny switches].
Is this some side effect of new psychomodels? Because it resulted in a
significant speed up as well...

Notes to Mark.
Change in subs.c - remove the fft_side() routine. It's done in the main fft
part now. (duplicated code which hasn't been removed)
Remove the rationale.html from the main page. This info is superfluous and sort
of covered by the patent free audio page.
