3.35 looks good, compiles fine here (AmigaOS), 'cept I still think you should
make inline a Makefile define;

1. Replace all "inline"s with INLINE
2. Put the various forms of "inline"s in the Makefile like f.ex. so:
   -DINLINE=__inline
