Due to really fast development of LAME since version 3.21 I lost the
track of the new command line options. Would anybody (Mark :) like
to summarize these changes? Another interesting thing is the best
command line for best-quality encoding. I got confused a little bit
because several different sources tell that LAME performs better in
sense of quality if it is running without its native psycho-model.
So, what would be the best command line for CBR encoding at 128,
160, 192 and 256 kbps? What's about VBR quality over different
command line parameters? Asking these questions I consider the
latest available beta version - 3.56.
